I've updated two of my antifascist candle labels. Because the world changed. Because the labels needed to say something more precise.
Here's what they say now.
"Light A Candle For The Revolution"
Sometimes resistance is loud. Marches, signs, collective action.
And sometimes it's quieter. A candle on your desk at midnight. A moment of clarity before you go back out there.
This candle is for both.

~~Self~~ Community Care
You know the phrase. Self-care. Take a bath. Rest. Protect your energy.
And yes. Do that. Rest is resistance too.
But the second label crosses out "self" and replaces it with "community." Because we don't get through this alone. Because care that doesn't extend beyond yourself has limits. Because the most radical thing you can do right now might be to show up for someone else.

Why candles?
Because you need a moment. Because the news is too much. Because you can't be in the streets every day and that's okay. Because ritual matters. Because a small flame on your table is still a light in the dark.
These are soy candles. They burn clean. They smell good. They sit on your shelf and remind you what you're fighting for — and that you're allowed to rest while you do it.
Two labels. Two ways of being in the world right now.
Both valid. Both necessary. Both antifascist.
