This tank top started with an illustration: a full-haired mermaid, arms raised, fingers EFFING OFF and the trans tattoo symbol. Hand-drawn. Unapologetic. Punk.
Because that's what "my body my choice" actually means — in the political sense. But also in the everyday sense. The choice to take up space. To move. To sweat. To exist out loud in a body that is yours.
The tank
Loose, unisex, sleeveless. A wide relaxed fit that works for a run, a protest, a pride parade, or a summer evening where you just want to feel good.
The fabric is the detail I love most: a cotton-polyester blend (59.75% cotton, 40.25% polyester) that's breathable and slightly technical — soft like cotton, but with that lightness that moves with you. Not a basic tee fabric. Something more active, more alive.
And the colorways: Light Gray with Yellow contrast stitching, and Purple with Blue. The contrast trim is what makes it — it turns a simple silhouette into something deliberate. Queer but also athletic. Political but also wearable every day.
